SURVIVOR ONE: I was in the lounge when the call came through. I heard the almighty roar of steel on ice. I could hear people around me screaming. One man called out above the crowd. "Women and children first," he said. So the men lined up. We stood in line, while the boat pulled us down to our deaths.

Spotlight on SURVIVOR THREE.
SURVIVOR THREE: Desperate times call for desperate measures. I felt so ashamed. I burst into a cabin and stole a dress. Anything to survive. The deck was freezing. The iceberg towered before me like a monolith. My knees were shaking as I boarded the boat. I knew I didn't deserve it. I knew I didn't belong - but I wanted to live.

SURVIVOR TWO: It wasn't until we were floating away that the... the sheer scale of the devastation hit me. This once mighty ship, the Titanic, ripped in two by this iceberg.

SURVIVOR ONE: I survived. My friends, my family - they weren't so lucky.

VOICE-OVER: On the 14th of April 1912 the RMS Titanic was struck by an iceberg. Over one thousand five hundred people lost their lives.
