I met them in the sky by the ISS
Where they float upside down and look out for a Supernova
N-O-V-A Nova.
They flew up to me and they asked me to dock
I asked them their name and in an rich proud voice they said NASA
N-A-S-A NASA Na-Na-Na-Na-NASA.

Well I'm not the world's most spiritual guy
But when I looked to the sky, well I almost cried
For my NASA. Na-Na-Na-Na-NASA
Well I'm not dumb but I can't understand
How they flew to the moon and took a small step for man
Oh my NASA.

Well we flew out to where day turned to night
Past their many satellites
They strapped me in, slapped me on the knee
And said "Little boy, time to leave gravity"
Well I'm not the world's most powerful guy
But when we flew away, we punched a hole in the sky

They showed me through space
I followed the glow
I saw UFOs
I looked at them and they at me.

Well I left home just a week ago
And I'd never been to New Mexico.
